HOW ARE CUSTOMS CHARGES CALCULATED?

Customs Fee = VAT + Duty + Handling Fee

VAT

We are not a VAT registered company (as were a new business and growing) this means there is no VAT applied to your order as there is none to pay from us as a company.

You will pay the vat on the value directly to your country or origin.

DUTY

This is at the discretion of your government and may not be charged at all. From our experience, duty does not seem to be charged on orders with a value less than £50 but this varies depending on your location.

HANDLING FEE

This is the processing fee charged by UPS and seems to vary depending on your location.

WHAT IF I REFUSE TO PAY THE CUSTOMS FEES FOR MY ORDER?

In this case, your order will be returned to us and we will process your refund. The initial cost of shipping plus a return to sender fee will be deducted from your refund total. This return fee can be up to 2 x your original shipping fee.

Please note these fees are not charged by GRIP + GLOW and we do not add any handling or processing fees to your order.
